Crock Pot Balsamic Honey Pork Tenderloin
Wednesday, February 10, 2016From our skinny table to yours ...
Who else was SNOWED in this weekend?! We don't know about you all but we definitely got our workout in (without going to the gym) with the amount of shoveling we did!
The snowy weather always has us reaching for our crock pot ... more crock pot recipes to come! We made a big batch of chicken soup and THIS amazing pork tenderloin. Honestly, I don't think I will ever pan sear or over roast a pork loin again. This was so easy and so deliciously tender! We served it with roasted potatoes and asparagus for a complete meal.
We started by whisking together a super simple sauce of white balsamic (it's a bit milder than regular balsamic but feel free to swap out if that's what you have on hand), honey, chicken stock, orange juice and garlic.
We seasoned the tenderloin with Himalayan pink sea salt (we got it at Costco & are obsessed), pepper, garlic, onion & basil.
Just place the seasoned pork in the crock pot and pour the sauce in ... 6 hours on low and good to go as it will literally fall apart as you remove it from the crock pot!
This will definitely be a staple in our house this winter! Hope you enjoy as much as we did :)
