Your 2 Minute Exercise of the day!
Thursday, February 07, 2013Can you believe it's already February? January went by in the blink of an eye... time really does fly, huh? This just proves that bikini season will be here before we know it! We sure as heck don't want to freak out come May so join us as we do our everyday exercises and our super simple 2 minute routines to prepare for those warm months! If we all make an effort now we will be ready and excited to flaunt our stuff on the beach this season ;)
Today we are working our chest! We used 5 pound hand weights, but if you don't have weights lying around there are oh-so-many things you can use to improvise with. Grab shampoo bottles, soup cans, candles... you get the idea, no excuses today!
And the clock starts now...
30 dumbbell presses (lay on your back, raise arms up to the ceiling and slowly lower arms keeping elbows close to your body - it's like a backwards push-up)
30 chest flys (lay on your back, arms straight out to the side, raise arms keeping elbows straight up to the ceiling, lower back down to ground and repeat)
25 push-ups (girlie push-ups are just fine!)
We're done! If you're feeling extra motivated now, run a few laps around your living room and get your heart rate up :) It's the little things we do to stay in shape, and we have fun while we're doing it! Dance while you cook, jump around the house, it's always better when it doesn't feel like a workout right??
Now get moving and then get cooking one of your favorite 'I don't go to the gym' meals and we will all feel skinnier tomorrow!
