Your 2 Minute Exercise of the Day ...
Thursday, December 06, 2012We don't go to the gym! That's our motto and we are sticking to it ;)
As much as we would love to just eat healthy and skip that whole 'working out' thing, we know a healthy, fit body is created 70% in the kitchen and yes ... 30% 'in the gym.' Rather than hit the gym, we love to incorporate our 30% into our daily routine. We make exercise fun by adding in easy everyday tips to keep our bodies lean and mean!
On top of our daily routine (lunges down the hallway, toe raises in the shower, etc.), we always pick a bonus '2 minute exercise of the day' to spice things up and keep our muscles guessing so join us as we work our bodies from head to toe.
Today we are working arms so grab your hand weights or soup cans - no excuses!
And the clock starts now ...
30 bicep curls
30 tricep curls
30 dips on edge of couch
15 straight arm front & side raises
See how easy that was :) We should all have no trouble fitting in something as simple as this into our daily routines!

Here are our some of our go-to exercises:
50 jumping jacks
50 tuck jumps
2 minute jump rope ... with or without a jump rope!
60 second plank
30 push ups (girly ones are definitely OK)
60 sit-ups
30 bicycle twist sit-ups
30 squats
30 lunges on each leg
60 second toe raises
60 second superman hold
Reverse leg lift - 30 on each side
